  1. Just listened to this post on Facebook group "Hartland TV Western Famous Riders Collectors". While some of the information provided was accurate and informative for curious novices, some claims border on outright nonsense where informed collectors are concerned. The following are just a few examples of inaccuracies made regarding Hartland westerns. 1) Suggestions that there were EVER horse and rider sets made for figures like Vint Bonner, Chris Colt or Johnny McKay are simply untrue and without merit; pure fantasy on the part of the author of the post. 2) Roy Rogers saddles made without the letters "RR" are simply inaccurate and wrong. 3) Blister packs made for mini horse and rider sets without accessories? Again, not true as removable hats were added to each and every set except for Tonto (who never wore a hat). You should consider doing a better job of researching the subject matter before offering a commentary on the hobby.

  2. Thank you for your corrections. I appreciate the information if not the attitude. My intention was to give exposure to something that was new to me as well as to many listeners. The information I gathered came from numerous sources was not simply made up on the spot. There is very little information readily available on the Hartland Western figurines, and the best was done with that which was available. Thx for listening and for your input.
