KALEN JOHNSON
It's Wild West Wednesday once again...In today's Six-Gun
Justice Conversation segment, co-host Richard Prosch talks with Kalen Vaughan
Johnson, author of Robbing the Pillars.
Kalen is an historical fiction
writer living in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she graduated from UNC-Chapel
Hill with a BA in mass media, before going to work in television for the next
eight years.
A voracious reader, Kalen grew up on the greats of
historical fiction, including James Michener, Leon Uris, James Clavell, Larry
McMurtry, Pat Conroy, Colleen McCullough, Edward Rutherford, and Ken Follett. These stories and a fascination
with history, particularly the 1800’s and the American frontier, moved her to
write.
Kalen's latest book, Raid of Souls, which is the
second book in her Empire Barons series, has recently been published.
